Transfer Single Articulation Pathway (TSAP) is aprogram that allows students to seamlessly transfer from a two-year community college, like Ivy Tech Community College, to a four-year university, like Indiana University Bloomington, with junior standing. This means completing a TSAP program at a community college guarantees that the coursework will be accepted as the first two years of a bachelor's degree program at the four-year university. 

The IU Bloomington School of Education offers a Bachelor of Science in Education/Math Education (TSAP). The Secondary Education program provides coursework and field experiences to prepare future teachers to meet the needs of students in today's schools. The program is designed to prepare teacher education candidates to teach in grades 5-12.

Coursework will combine extensive study of various science areas with a strong grounding in education theory, instructional methodologies, and professional development.

Content Requirements (24 credits)

A 2.0 GPA is required in the Content Area

A grade of C- or higher is required in each course. (Check with the department regarding when courses will be offered.)

Algebra

• MATH-M 391 Introduction to Mathematical Reasoning (3 cr.)

Program must include at least one of the following:

Professional Education (36 credits)

A 2.5 overall GPA is required in the Professional Education.

A grade of C or higher is required in each professional EDUC course. The following courses must be completed before student teaching.
