Bachelor of Science in Education/Journalism
The IU Bloomington School of Education offers a Bachelor of Science in Education/Journalism Education. The Secondary Education program provides coursework and field experiences to prepare future teachers to meet the needs of students in today's schools. The program is designed to prepare teacher education candidates to teach in grades 5-12.
Coursework will combine extensive study of various science areas with a strong grounding in education theory, instructional methodologies, and professional development.

A 2.5 GPA is required in the Content Area
