Community Arts Education
This minor is designed for undergraduates to enhance their qualifications as they seek employment in recreation centers, community arts centers, museums, after school, adult or early child care settings, continuing education, therapeutic or remedial settings, or a very wide range of other community-based sites in which participants may experience and learn about the arts.

- EDUC-M 200 Artifacts, Museums and Everyday life (3 cr.) OR EDUC-M235 Art, Interdisciplinarity and Education (3 cr.)
- EDUC-M 130 Child Art: Understanding Children’s Artistic Worlds (3 cr.)
- EDUC-M 330 Designing Visual Learning Experiences for Children (3 cr.) AND EDUC-M 411 Laboratory/Field Experience: Non-School Art Education (2 cr.)
- EDUC-M 430 Art Education in School and Museum Settings (3 cr.) AND EDUC-M 411 Laboratory/Field Experience: Non-School Art Education (1 cr.)
