Required Courses

15 credit hours or more in Latin at or above the 200 level, including at least 9 hours at or above L304. L300 may not count toward the minor in Latin. Neither L400 nor X492 may count toward the 9 hours at or above L304. The minor is to be completed with an average grade of C or higher. In fulfilling these requirements, students must also meet all other College requirements for minors.

1. With the approval of the director of undergraduate studies, up to 3 credit hours of X492 may be substituted and counted toward the minor.
2. Students may transfer up to 6 hours of credit from another institution to count toward the minor with the approval of the director of undergraduate studies.

Students who major in Greek or Latin may not earn a minor in Latin.
