Chemistry
Introduction
The Department of Chemistry (CHEM) offers both bachelor of arts and bachelor of science degrees in chemistry and biochemistry. Recommended preparation to enter one of these programs includes two years of algebra, a half year of trigonometry, one year of physics, and one year of chemistry at the high-school level (or equivalent coursework at the college level). Enrollment in all courses limited to students with a grade of C– or higher in prerequisite courses.
