Major in Classical Civilization: Culture and Literature

Required Courses

Students must complete a minimum of 30 credit hours, including the following:

1. Two of the following: C101, C102, C205, C206.
2. One of the following: C308, C310, C311, C350, C351, C360, C361.
3. C494 or H494.
4. 12 credit hours of additional course work chosen from the following: C308, C310, C311, C321, C350, C351, C360, C361, C362, C397, C405, C408, C409, C416, C491, or any of the courses cross-listed under Literature and Culture.
5. 6 credit hours of additional course work chosen from
   • C308, C310, C311, C321, C350, C351, C360, C361, C362, C397, C405, C408, C409, C416, C491, or any of the courses cross-listed under Culture and Literature.
   • Any course(s) in Greek.
   • Any course(s) in Latin at L200 or above (but not L300).
   • C101, C102, C205.

Students must also complete the degree requirements of the College of Arts and Sciences.
