General Requirements

Bachelor of Science in Health Services Management

The BSHSM degree consists of a combination of general education courses, HSM required courses, HSM core courses, and an HSM internship that together total at least 120 credits. See the specific degree requirements.

Accelerated Bachelor of Science in Health Services Management plus Master in Health Administration

You will complete three years of bachelor’s degree requirements. During your third year, you apply for the accelerated program. If accepted into the accelerated program, you will complete your first year of MHA coursework during what would have been your fourth year of undergraduate study.

That MHA coursework takes the place of your final BSHSM required courses. You then graduate with your bachelor’s degree the summer after your first year in the MHA program. See the specific degree requirements.

Bachelor of Science in Public Health

The BSPH degree consists of a total of 30 credit hours of general education requirements, 42 credit hours of coursework in the major and 21 credit hours of discipline electives. See the specific degree requirements.

Accelerated Bachelor of Science in Public Health plus Master in Public Health

You will complete three years of bachelor’s degree requirements. During your third year, you will apply for the accelerated program. If accepted into the accelerated program, you will complete your first year of MPH coursework in the Interdisciplinary Public Health Studies concentration, during what would have been your fourth year of undergraduate study.

That MPH coursework takes the place of your final BSPH required courses. You will then graduate with your bachelor’s degree in the summer after your first year in the MPH program. See the specific degree requirements.
