Undergraduate Research Programs
IU Indianapolis has established various campuswide undergraduate research programs through the
Center for Research and Learning (CRL) that encourage and recognize undergraduates who participate in research, scholarly, and creative activities with faculty mentors in all disciplines. These programs connect students to faculty research projects across campus. Undergraduates are encouraged to engage in these activities as early as possible. The annual IU Indianapolis Student Research and Creative Activity Day in April and the CRL Student Summer Poster Symposium in July showcase student work. Students may apply for research scholarships and travel money to facilitate their participation in professional meetings within their disciplines.
