How to Apply
Admission criteria and instructions related to the online application process can be accessed through the IU School of Nursing Web site. Instructions and the link to the Indiana University Graduate application can be found on our How to Apply page. International applicants must indicate on the graduate application that they are an International student.
Deadlines
- NP and CNS tracks admit yearly for Fall, application deadline January 15th.
- Education and Leadership applications accepted each semester; start dates vary with course availability.
- PhD Program admits yearly for Summer (May); application deadline is November 15th of each year. Please note: the PhD Program may move to a Fall (August) program start in 2022.
- DNP Program admission varies by track:
- Admission to the Post-MSN Executive Leadership or Advanced Clinical tracks is offered one time per year; cohorts start every August. Priority application deadline is March 15th.
- Admission to the MSN & DNP Dual Degree track is offered one time per year; cohorts start every August. Priority application deadline is July 1st. Applicants to this track will apply first to the MSN Leadership track.
- Admission to the MBA or MHA to DNP Transition track is offered one time per year; cohorts start every January. Priority application deadline is November 15th.
- Admission to the Post-MSN Executive Leadership or Advanced Clinical tracks is offered one time per year; cohorts start every August. Priority application deadline is March 15th.
