Society of Professional Journalists-The Department of Journalism and Public Relations at IUPUI hosts a chapter of the Society of Professional Journalists, an opportunity for students to network with area professionals, stage fundraisers and bring awareness of First Amendment and other issues to campus.
National Association of Black Journalists-The Department of Journalism and Public Relations has a chapter of the National Association of Black Journalists, which is an organization comprised of journalists, students, and media-related professionals that provides quality programs and services to and advocates on behalf of black journalists worldwide.
