Admissions

Application Deadlines

Applications are accepted and reviewed twice each year. Applications must be complete in order to be reviewed. Incomplete applications and those received after these deadlines will be held until the following admission cycle. The deadlines for application are: Fall semester - July 1; Spring semester - November 1.

How to Apply

Please submit the following items:

1. the IUPUI online graduate application
2. $50 non-refundable application fee
3. a statement of professional development and goals
4. two (2) letters of recommendation
5. official transcripts
6. officials GRE scores (only required if you do not meet minimum GPA requirements)

Application Details

The online application is used by all graduate and professional programs on the IUPUI campus. Please make sure to select "Masters Degree," "Adult Education," and "Adult Education, M.S." to ensure your application is routed correctly.

If you are a current or former IU student (any campus), please log in to the application using your IU user name and passphrase.

To submit the online application, you must pay the $50 application fee online with a credit card. IUPUI accepts MasterCard, Discover, Visa, and American Express for application fees.

Please note that the department cannot access your application until you pay the fee and submit the forms.

Admission Notification

The admissions committee will review your completed application in the week following the application deadline. At that point, we may contact you to schedule a telephone interview. We'll then notify you of your admission status by email and postal mail within the following two weeks.
