The Department of Applied Health Science at Indiana University is one of the oldest, most respected professional and academic degree granting entities in the United States. The department offers study in dietetics, sexuality and reproductive health, human development and family studies, nutrition science, public health, safety management, and youth development. It has one of the most highly respected health behavior doctoral programs in the nation, and the MPH program has two Department of Applied Health Science concentrations, including Social, Behavioral and Community Health, which is among the best of approximately 300 similar programs nationwide.
