Minor in Communication and Public Advocacy
Requirements
Students must complete at least 15 credit hours of coursework. Required courses include:
- R228 or W270
- R396
- 9 credit hours selected from R212, R222, R224, R305, R321, R339, R340, R342, R348, R355, R397, R398, W231, W240, W321, W350.
- A minimum of 9 credit hours must be completed at the 300 level.
- At least 9 credit hours of coursework must be completed on the Bloomington campus.
Note: W202 and W205 are not approved for inclusion in the major or minor. In fulfilling the above requirements, students must also meet all other College requirements for minors.
A student may complete both the Minor in Communication and Public Advocacy and another minor offered by the Department of English as long as different courses are chosen to complete each minor. Students pursuing a major in English and continuing students pursuing a major in Communication and Culture are not eligible for this minor.
