- SGIS-S 200 Topics in Diplomatic Practice (1-3 cr.) Study of diplomatic practices in the U.S. and abroad. Emphasis may be given to ethical, legal, and economic variables in diplomacy. May be repeated with a different topic for a maximum of 6 credit hours.
- SGIS-X 373 Internship in Global and International Studies (1-3 cr.) Provides academic structure to undergraduate students who wish to engage in a work experience through participation in internships domestically or internationally. S/F grading. May be repeated for a maximum of 6 credit hours.
- SGIS-S 400 Advanced Topics in Global Affairs (1-3 cr.) Study of international and global issues relating to politics, security, media and health. May be repeated with a different topic for a maximum of 6 credit hours.
