Accelerated Undergraduate/Graduate Degree Programs
The College of Arts and Sciences offers exceptional students the opportunity to apply to participate in a number of accelerated joint undergraduate/graduate degree programs that allow students to begin graduate study during their fourth year in residence on the Bloomington campus. Details of these programs vary by department and degree, so students should consult the departmental advisor and the individual entries in this Bulletin for application standards, timelines and procedures.
A few general principles apply. Students participating in these programs:
- Complete a minimum of 90 credit hours in the College of Arts and Sciences;
- Satisfying core degree requirements including Foundations, Intensive Writing, Foreign Language, Breadth of Inquiry, Critical Approaches, Public Oral Communication, and
- Complete the major concentration requirements for these B.S. majors.
