Minor in Therapeutic Development and Translation 

PhD Minor in Therapeutic Development and Translation

The doctoral minor in therapeutic development and translation is a 12 credit hour minor designed to provide PhD students in the IUSM Graduate Division a rigorous and cross-disciplinary foundation of drug discovery and development processes. 

The Therapeutic Development and Translation Minor includes 6 credit hours of core coursework and 6-credit graduate level electives from the list below:

Admission Requirements

To be admitted to the PhD minor in Therapeutic Development and Translation, you must be a currently enrolled doctoral student in good academic standing in any IU or IUPUI school. 

Grading Policy

A minimum of B (3.0) is required in each course that is to count toward the minor. If a minimum of B (3.0) is not earned in a course, that course must be retaken. A course may be retaken only once. Students who fail to achieve the minimum grade of B (3.0) the second time they take a course, will not be able to earn this PhD minor. 

Qualifying Exam

This PhD minor does not require a Qualifying Exam
