• CLPH-D 501 Biotherapeutics Part 1: Discovering Novel Treatments (3 cr.) This course will introduce the process for the discovery of breakthrough therapeutics. The curriculum will detail multi-disciplinary discovery strategies and sciences.  Through course content and case studies, students will obtain a working knowledge of how drug discovery programs are initiated and prosecuted to create molecules that can become medicines.
• CLPH-D 502 Biotherapeutics Part 2: Developing Clinically-Approved Medicines (3 cr.) Picking up where CLPH-D 501 left off, this course illustrates the journey through drug testing and translation to FDA approval. Students will learn effective study design frameworks, and will gain an understanding of the regulatory process and what evidence is required to demonstrate drug efficacy and safety.
