The Campus Learning Center provides quality year-round childcare and preschool/kindergarten for students, faculty, staff and community children three through eight years of age. We strive to help children promote healthy emotional, social, physical and cognitive growth and development by providing an active learning environment.
We believe and extensive research confirms that children learn through play, active exploration of their environment, concrete experiences and peer/adult interactions. We encourage children to develop to their full potential by the use of individual, small and whole group activities.
The Children’s Learning Center facility is arranged into learning centers to encourage children to make individual choices. The Centers include: dramatic play, art and writing, math/manipulatives, science and sensory, social studies, language arts, library, blocks, computers, music, motor development and character development (STEM-science, technology, engineering, math) and outside learning/play area. For more information and/or to visit the facility, call (812) 941-2402.
