Overview
Herron School of Art and Design educates students seeking instruction in Art Education, Art History, Art Therapy, Fine Arts, and Visual Communication Design. Herron currently offers the following undergraduate degrees: Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Art History; Bachelor of Art Education (BAE); and Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA). Graduate degrees currently include: Master of Arts (MA) in Art Therapy; Master of Fine Arts (MFA) in Visual Art; and Master of Design (MDes). BFA, MFA, and BAE programs are accredited as professional degree programs by the National Association of Schools of Art and Design.
Certificates include an undergraduate certificate in Pre-Art Therapy and a graduate certificate in Design Thinking.
