How to Apply
Admission criteria and instructions related to the online application process can be accessed through the IU School of Nursing website. Instructions and the link to the Indiana University graduate application can be found on our How to Apply page.
Deadlines
- MSN Nurse Practitioner (NP) and Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS) tracks admit yearly for Fall, application deadline is February 15th.
- MSN Education and Leadership tracks admit each semester. Application deadline for Fall is May 15th, Spring is October 15th, and Summer is February 15th.
- PhD Program admits yearly for Summer (May); application deadline is November 15th.
- DNP Program admission varies by track:
- Admission to the Post-MSN Executive Leadership or Advanced Clinical tracks is offered one time per year; cohorts start every August. Priority application deadline is March 15th.
- Admission to the MSN & DNP Dual Degree track is offered one time per year; cohorts start every August. Priority application deadline is May 15th. Applicants to this track will apply first to the MSN Leadership track.
- Admission to the MBA or MHA to DNP Transition track is offered one time per year; cohorts start every January. Priority application deadline is September 1st.
- Admission to the Post-MSN Executive Leadership or Advanced Clinical tracks is offered one time per year; cohorts start every August. Priority application deadline is March 15th.
