MS in I/O Psychology

All applicants must have a Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution. Entrants are accepted for full-time study beginning in the Fall semester.

Admission Requirements

  2. Graduate Record Examination verbal and quantitative scores (the psychology subtest is not required).
  3. Students must have an undergraduate GPA of at least 3.20 on a 4-point scale
  4. Three (3) strong letters of recommendation (including the recommendation Form pdf file); letters from faculty supervisors are preferred.
  5. Personal statement expressing interest in the field of I/O psychology and research interests that complement those of the I/O faculty.
  6. Two (2) official transcripts of all undergraduate and graduate coursework.
  7. International students must submit TOEFL scores (Test of English as a Foreign Language) unless student has a Bachelor's degree from a predominantly English-speaking country (check here for the official list).
  8. Prior research experience and relevant coursework in psychology (e.g., statistics, research methods, psychological tests and measures, introductory I/O psychology) and/or related fields (e.g., human resources, organizational behavior) are strongly recommended.
