The Order of Barristers is composed of the best students in the program, and its members serve on regional and national teams, where they have achieved prominence in competitions.
Established in 1993, our school's Pro Bono Program provides opportunities for students to assist low-income Indianapolis residents and community groups in need of assistance. Since the program's inception, students have contributed more than 70,000 volunteer hours for the good of the community.
The school also sponsors a variety of student organizations that focus on a number of discrete legal areas of interest to students. Additionally, the school invites a number of distinguished and well-known speakers to the school. Students hear lectures by legal scholars, historians, distinguished practicing attorneys, and jurists from around the country. Five Justices of the United States Supreme Court have delivered lectures at the law school, including Chief Justice John G. Roberts.
