About the B.S. Chemistry or Biochemistry Degree
The American Chemical Society certifies the IU Northwest ACS Chemistry degree. Graduates of this program will be recommended to the American Chemical Society as having fulfilled requirements of the ACS Committee on Professinal Training. The B.S. degree emphasizes science and mathematics courses as major requirements outside of the major required core. An honors sequence is available for the B.S. degree. The Honors Track requries (1) Research, (2) Minimum Chemistry GPA 3.4 and (3) a senior thesis. Consult the department for further detail.
