Students can earn a certificate in Spanish by completing the Humanities and Social Sciences requirement of:

Core Courses (or placement test):

• SPAN-S 111 (4 cr.)
• SPAN-S 112 (4 cr.)
• SPAN S 203 (3 cr.)
• SPAN-S 204 (3 cr.)

2.  Required:

• SPAN-S 275 Hispanic Culture and Conversation or
  • SPAN-S 325 Oral Spanish for Teachers (3 cr.)
• 1 elective course at the 300 or 400 level (3 cr.)
