Mission Statement
In support of Indiana University Kokomo’s statements of commitment, the mission of the School of Nursing is to provide innovative educational experiences that prepare nurses at the baccalaureate and higher degree levels to collaborate with other professionals to provide safe, culturally competent, evidence-based health care. The graduate will have the knowledge, skills, and attitudes to facilitate safe, appropriate transitions of care as well as educate clients to manage their own health. Reflective of the faculty commitment to professional nursing education, students are presented with opportunities for community involvement, professional engagement
