Women's, Gender, and Sexuality Studies

The PhD minor in Women’s, Gender, and Sexuality Studies provides students the opportunity to explore a wide range of issues pertaining to women, gender, and sexuality. Issues are discussed for the purpose of increasing understanding of how they impact culture and society. With an interdisciplinary lens that broadens options for research and study and, the PhD Minor in WGSS brings together faculty from different disciplines who explore relevant issues in teaching, research, and service. Cross-functional in nature, their expertise offers unique starting points in interpreting these experiences.

 

The PhD Minor in Women’s, Gender, and Sexuality Studies of 12 credits to be chosen among these courses:

  • WGSS-W 601 Survey of Contemporary Research in Women’s Studies: The Social and Behavioral Sciences (3 cr.)
