Cybersecurity, B.S.
Upon completion of the B.S. degree, CTS students will be able to:

  1. Understand Cybersecurity requirements.
  2. Implement Cybersecurity requirements.
  3. Investigate Cybersecurity incidents.
  4. Analyze Cyber security incidents.
  5. Protect computer networks against malevolent activities by actively.
  6. Effectively defend computer networks against malevolent activities by actively participating in red team blue team exercises.
  7. Identify computer network vulnerabilities through penetration testing and hacking techniques
  8. Correct computer Network vulnerabilities through penetration testing and hacking techniques
  9. Critically analysis security issues to develop and implement security policies and to solve problems.
  10. Conduct risk assessments
  11. Manage risks
  12. Read, interpret, write, modify, and execute simple scripts (e.g., Perl, VBScript) on Windows and UNIX sysstems (e.g., those that perform tasks such as: parsing large data files, automating manual tasks, and fetching/processing remote date).
  13. Interact with other in group or teams in ways that contribute to effective working relationships and the achievement of goals.
