A student must take a total of 27 credit hours listed under the categories of Group IIIA, IIIB and IIIC with a minimum of 6 credit hours in each category. Group IIIC courses must not be in Fine Arts.

Students must take at least one science course in Group III A that includes a laboratory.

A student must take at least one studio arts/performing arts/creative writing course in the humanities (this course may also be used to satisfy the major).
