Economics Minor
Non-business students may obtain a minor in economics by successfully fulfilling the following requirements. (15 cr.)
Required courses (9 cr.):
- ECON-E 201 Introduction to Microeconomics (3 cr.)
- ECON-E 202 Introduction to Macroeconomics (3 cr.)
- ECON-E 270 Statistical Theory in Business and Economics (or equivalent) (3 cr.)
Choose two of the following five courses (6 cr.):
- BUS-D 301 International Business Environment (3 cr.)
- BUS-F 301 Financial Management (3 cr.)
- BUS-M 301 Intro to Marketing Management (3 cr.)
- BUS-X 487 Students in Free Enterprise (3 cr.)
- ECON-E 303 Survey of International Economics (3 cr.)
Students must earn a minimum of C- in each course, and a cumulative G.P.A. of 2.0.
