Readmission

Academic Unit Dismissal

Academic Unit Dismissed students must petition for readmission into the Luddy School of Informatics, Computing, and Engineering. Students may obtain the petition from the Luddy Undergraduate Academic Advising Office. A petition for readmission must be filed by July 15 for fall, November 15 for spring, and April 15 for summer readmission. A student who has been dismissed by academic unit may be eligible to return to school after being out of school for one regular semester (summer sessions do not count), and have petitioned successfully. Students whose petitions are denied will not be allowed to register. 

IUB Academic Dismissal 

An undergraduate student academically dismissed from IUB may seek reinstatement to IUB and an academic unit through OVPUE. OVPUE will coordinate with the relevant academic unit. The academic unit will determine eligibility for reinstatement under the unit’s criteria.
