The School of Public Health-Bloomington (SPH-B) houses researchers, instructors, service providers, students, and alumni who share a goal of helping people live healthier, happier lives. The school is composed of five Departments: Applied Health Science, Environmental and Occupational Health, Epidemiology and Biostatistics, Kinesiology, and Health & Wellness Design. Several research and service centers operate within and across these units.

SPH-B has a mission — to prevent disease, promote health, and enhance quality of life locally, across Indiana, throughout the United States, and around the world. As an accredited school of public health, SPH-B ensures that its curriculum is grounded in foundational public health knowledge and skills.
