Description of Program
The Department of Applied Health Science at Indiana University is one of the oldest, most respected professional and academic degree granting entities in the United States. The department offers study in dietetics, human development and family studies, nutrition science, public health, safety management, youth development, and school and college health education. It has one of the most highly respected health behavior doctoral programs in the nation, and the MPH program has three Department of Applied Health Science concentrations, including Social, Behavioral and Community Health, which is among the best of approximately 300 similar programs nationwide.
