Graduate and Diploma Leaves of Absence
Though timely academic progress is essential to all programs of study, students will occasionally encounter extenuating circumstances that affect their ability to make adequate progress and which may necessitate a leave of absence.
The Graduate and Diploma Leave of Absence Policy is available at https://intranet.music.indiana.edu/degrees/graduate-diploma/leaveofabsence.html. Requests for leaves of absence must be submitted to the School of Music Graduate office with appropriate documentation, and are subject to approval by the Administrative Committee of the Jacobs School of Music.
