Indiana University-Bloomington Requirements for Transfer Students
Indiana University welcomes students who wish to transfer from other colleges or universities.
University requirements for transfer admission include:
- A minimum cumulative GPA of 2.3 on a 4.0 scale (2.5 required for nonresidents of Indiana);
- Transcripts from all colleges or universities attended.
Applicants who have completed fewer than 26 credit hours of transferable college coursework must also submit:
- Official high school transcript, sent directly to the IU Office of Admissions.
- SAT/ACT scores (If you are at least 21 years old or have been out of high school three or more years, you do not need to send SAT/ACT scores.).
