Academic Advisor
Ph.D. Minor in Urban Affairs
Students in doctoral programs at Indiana University may choose urban affairs as an outside minor. To do so, the student must secure a faculty advisor from the urban affairs committee in consultation with the academic advisor for urban affairs (the faculty advisor must not be in the student’s major department). The advisor will serve as the representative of the urban affairs committee in all matters relating to the minor. The advisor shall decide on the character of the examination in the minor field, if any, and shall certify that the student has met the requirements of the program when this has been done.
