BTAA (formerly CIC) CourseShare
Big Ten Academic Alliance (BTAA) CourseShare is a program in which instructors use online delivery platforms or videoconferencing systems to host a course simultaneously on more than one campus. CourseShare allows participating institutions to share their courses with a wider audience since interested students do not have to leave their home campus. Students who are interested in taking a language course that is not taught at IU, may be able to complete the course through BTAA. Grades and credits are reported on the student's home university transcript. There are no additional fees associated with shared courses. Students wanting to complete an established shared course are encouraged to check with their advisors/departments to ensure that the CourseShare course will enhance their studies and apply toward graduation. Available courses vary each semester. Program coordinators can contact BTAA CourseShare (
coshare [at] indiana [dot] edu) or call (812) 855-8383 for additional information.
