Admission Application Instructions

  • Complete the application (.pdf format).
  • Send the application, along with a $45 nonrefundable application fee, payable to Indiana University, to the campus nearest you. If you were previously admitted to Indiana University, do not send the fee.
  • Contact the institution of your highest academic achievement (high school or college) and formally request that your latest transcript be sent to the IU campus nearest you. Transcripts must be mailed directly from the institution and carry the institutional seal. If you have attended more than one college, transcripts from all colleges are required.
Who is eligible to apply?
  • All qualified high school graduates.
  • Persons with a General Education Development certificate.
  • Citizens of other countries, including those in the United States on immigrant visas. In addition to the items above, applicants from other countries must submit TOEFL scores and a 300- to 500-word essay, which can be autobiographical, on a topic selected by the applicant, as well as the Indiana University international application for admission.
