Painting
The B.F.A. in Painting is a professional undergraduate degree for students desiring extensive studio experience with an emphasis in Painting. Students in the program develop critical thinking skills, refine their intellectual and creative processes, and learn both traditional and contemporary aspects of the painter's craft.The Painting Program features balanced instruction and a diverse faculty presenting a wide range of viewpoints. This well-rounded educational preparation provides students with the opportunity to acquire the knowledge and ability essential to creative activity.
Prior to being admitted into the major in Painting, students must successfully pass sophomore advancement review.
