Specialized
(18 credit hours) In consultation with advisors, students may design curricula that anticipate their career and educational goals and reflect their background and training. Specialized concentrations must be approved by the student's faculty advisor and the appropriate faculty program director to ensure high standards or rigor, depth, and breadth. Specialized concentrations must be declared within the first 24 credit hours of a student's program.
